A unique, heart-shaped ring featuring genuine sea glass. A precious everyday piece that is eye-catching on its own or combined with other rings.
The colour is a rare, deep black. Black is one of the oldest glass bottle colours, used by early Romans throughout their empire. Black glass from this time period is often actually a very dark olive green or olive or amber, and was usually made by adding iron oxide during the manufacturing process… Some black glass may have started out as another colour, but are either so thick or have darkened over a long time so they appear black. It has a frosty surface by nature but if you’d like a shiny appearance and brighter colour you can rub it with a small amount of liquid oil (like olive oil).
Adjustable open back, fits almost all adult sizes. Thick band & smoothly filed edges for a comfortable fit. Diameter of the band is approx. 17.5mm when closed.
