These gorgeous sets of necklace and earrings are made from hand picked smooth Sea foam Aqua Cornish Seaglass combed by myself off our local North Cornwall beaches , These tiny droplets of sea glass are also known as mermaids tears.
The story goes that when a fisherman dies at sea the mermaid’s tears turn into these small, beautiful pieces of sea glass.
When they appear on our shores, they are a reminder that no life lost at sea is forgotten. We have paired them up as similar in tone as we can .
The earrings are approx size 15mmx 8mm. They are hand gilded with silver leaf and mounted on silver shafts and butterflies. The pendant is mounted on a silver setting and hung from a sterling silver 16” chain.
